CornerBank eStatements FAQs

Q What is an eStatement?
A eStatement, or electronic statement, is an electronic version of your personal account statement available as an added feature of Online Banking. You can view, save, or print your eStatement right from your computer, at your convenience.
Like Online Banking, eStatements are only available for personal accounts.

Q What is the difference between my Account Activity in Online Banking and an eStatement?
A
Both your Account Activity screen and your eStatements show your transaction history and are free of charge. Here are the key differences:

  • The Account Activity screen shows all of your recent and pending transactions for the past 6-months. Check images are available for 60-days.
    • If you are new to Online Banking, account history will build from the date of activation.
  • eStatements are electronic versions of the monthly paper statements that you receive by mail. They include transactions from a set period of time (a statement cycle); they do not include any pending transactions. If you currently receive check images with your paper statement, they will be included in your eStatement.
    • Whether you are new to Online Banking or a current user, once you accept to receive eStatement via Online Banking you will have access to at least twelve of your most recent statements for your account.

Q How much will eStatement cost?
A
Just like Online Banking and Bill Payment, this is a FREE service. There is no charge to access an eStatement for your CornerBank checking or savings account using Online Banking.

Q Will my eStatement look the same as my regular printed statement?
A Yes, and it will contain all the information you received in your paper statement. If you currently receive check images with your paper statement, they will be included in your eStatement. For legal purposes, a printed version of an eStatement is the same as a paper statement mailed via U.S. Mail.

Q How can I access my eStatement?
A If you’re a current Online Banking user, simply access your eStatement using the same user ID and password that you currently use for Online Banking. Here’s how:

  • Access Online Banking through this website
  • Log in using your current Online Banking User ID and Password
  • Click on the Statement icon
  • Accept the one-time Disclosure
  • Click on the account that you would like to view
  • You will see links to up to twelve of your most recent statements for your account
  • Click on the statement date that you would like to view

Not currently an Online Banking user? With Online Banking you can view account history, make balance transfers, view check images, download to your Quicken or Money program, view your eStatement and pay your bills  - all with a single sign on and completely FREE. Follow these easy steps to enroll.

  • Access Online Banking through this website
  • Click on “First time users, please click here” – located just under the "Welcome" on the right hand side of the screen, then follow the simple instructions.
  • You will have access to your accounts online within two business day
  • Then follow the easy instructions above to access your eStatements

Q Do I need special software to view my eStatement?
A eStatements will be presented in PFD format. If you don’t already have this software installed, you can download it for free from Adobe’s website. Get Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® now.**

Q How long will my statements be available?
A You will have access to up to twelve of your most recent statements for your account utilizing the eStatements services. CornerBank retains statement copies for up to seven years.

Q Can I request a copy of a statement not available in eStatements?
A Yes. To receive a copy of past statements, you can call us at 1-800-408-9273 to request a copy. In some cases, additional fees may apply to get copies of older statements. Please see our Deposit Account Agreement and Disclosure.

Q How do I save a copy of my eStatement to my computer?
A
Once you have opened your eStatement, you can save it using the small disk icon on the toolbar of your Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® software. Provide a name for the file using a .pdf extension. Select a name that will help you remember which statement the file contains (e.g. CheckingMay2007.pdf).

Q How will I know when a new eStatement is available?
A Once you sign up for eStatements for your checking or savings accounts, your statement will be available online at the same time your paper statement was available. Simply check the date on your last printed statement or contact any Personal Banker to determine your statement date.

Q Can I have eStatement delivery for more than one account?
A Yes. Once you accept the one-time Disclosure, all deposit accounts (savings or checking) currently accessible via Online Banking will automatically be converted to eStatement delivery.

Q Will I continue to receive paper copies of my statement if I sign-up for eStatement?
A No, you can either receive a paper statement or an eStatement; paper statements are no longer produced once you elect to receive eStatements.

Q What if I change my mind and want to get paper statements?
A To resume receiving your paper statements in the mail for checking and savings accounts, please send a written request to cancel your eStatement and resume receiving paper statements. The written request should be sent to CornerBank, N.A., PO Box 545, Attn: eStatement Support, Winfield, Ks 67156-0545. Once you make your written request, your next statement will be online, followed by paper statements in subsequent months.

Q I have a business account, how can I enjoy the benefits of eStatements?
A Through our online Cash Management service, commercial customers can move funds between accounts via book transfers, wire transfers and ACH transmissions. Transactions initiated before 6 p.m. Central Time will be posted on the same day! Set up automatic email alerts when cash flow reaches a specified level. Add stop payments on a single check or a range of checks. Order cash. Plus more! Although, at the present time eStatements are not available via Cash Managment, you can enroll in Commercial eStatements, which are delivered to you via secured email.
